This is an awesome school ,especially if your child is special needs. The teacher there Mrs. Wright is great and we came from another district and the teacher was awful and my son had her for 2 years so Mrs. Wright made all the difference in the world and my son adapted to her class right away. He made the honor roll and also won too many awards to count in one year. She saw the potential in him I always knew was there. Also my daughter had some issues but not in a special class and Mr. Johnson was great with her.I wish he would move to 1st grade so she can have him again. This school has top notch teachers. Sorry to say my son is moving on to JMT and won't have Mrs. Wright but I have my fingers crossed. He'll miss Centre City and Mrs. Wright.

I attended this school from kindergarten until the day I graduated 6th gr. in 1991. I know that was a long time ago, but out of curiosity I decided to look this school up. As I read the reviews I saw that this school has not lost it's awesomeness. I have since moved from NJ, but if I were to still live there in my previous nieghborhood, I would definately send my child to this school

GREAT school! GREAT teachers! Above all of the rest, they teach your child character building and self-esteem. They teach them to love learning and going to school. What more could you ask for? GREAT JOB CENTRE CITY!

This school is top notch and I am being very honest. Many children who move here from other areas have had a tough time at first adjusting to the school's level of curriculum. I know of many parents of new student who were very concerned at first because of this. But don't be alarmed because the teachers and other staff members will make sure your child is up to speed in no time. They also have a very good gifted and talented program. Families are very involved with the school and their children in this area. I just can't say enough good about this school. I have had children in this school starting with 1998 right up to this current day. My youngest is in 2nd grade. Excellent teachers and administration also.

No. I have heard of teachers setting up FB pages on areas of study so students can use technology as a learning tool. All posts are public and private messages are disabled. I won't even friend former students. I do it as a rule-no hurt feelings.

No! As an educator, I don't want to be held responsible for what students are doing outside of the classroom.

Absolutely not. Most schools offer the homework question site through the school system. They do not need to be "friends" with their students through social networking sites.
