My oldest will be at the new middle school this year and my youngest still has 2 years left here. My kids and I love this school. We moved here from another city and could not have hoped for a better school.

This is an EXCELLENT school. Both my children attend and have learned and continue to learn a great deal from their wonderful, dedicated teachers. I wouldn't want them attending school anywhere else.

All three of my children have attended West Glocester and I've found the teachers to be excellent, kind and receptive to parental involvement. I read the previous review, and, since my eldest is a special needs child, found it impossible not to reply. I doubt my child would have done as well in another school district with less devoted teachers. The level of parental concern and community involvement is terrific and there are some truly outstanding teachers here. I'm sure there are some teachers that are less than perfect, but overall, this is a great school.

I was not impressed with this school system. Both my children attended from kindergarten to fifth grade. Most of the teachers leave a lot to be desired. Very difficult to deal with and very pickey about things that don't matter. If you have a Special Ed Child, forget it. The system is very hard to deal with. If they can't get through to your child, it is always the child's fault. The whole Special Education Department, which deals with all Foster-Glocester is very difficult. They want to push your child out if they are borderline, even if they can't read.
