Washington Elementary School

I love this school, the staff and teachers are wonderful. Especially Mrs. Englund the Kindergartner Teacher. They offer free breakfast for all students, and they walk your kindergartners out and stay with them until they are picked up, or else they end up in the office to wait for you. Their academics are fast paced and they help every child to succeed. The principal will change at the end of the 2007 year, but I believe that the next one should be just as great. The parents are only as involved as they want to be. I know several parent's that are there everyday to help out and others that are too busy, and that's all okay. It all evens out and the staff is always so gracious that you came to help out. This school is the best, they even offer Child ID kits thorough Child Safety Sense, Great School!

Washington Elementary School is a great school for kids who are eager and willing to participate. They have lots of opportunities for extra things for the kids to do. My daughter has loved all of her teachers... who were really caring and showed excitment for her. Always had great suggestions for her to improve. You can be as involved or not as you choose.

Absolutely love Washington Elementarys principle, Mary Heath, she is wonderful to both the children and parents. Teachers are very one on one. The reading program is excellent-my child has grown so much in both reading and math work. I actually moved out of this schools territory and had to re-locate my child to another school last yr. Needless to say this yr. I have moved back into Washingtons's territory because the school was so great. I am very happy with the school.
