My son is in the 6th grade. I had no intention of letting him attend North Tahoe Middle School. I had some reservations about the amount of self motivation and home teaching involved in this program. My son has adapted wonderfully. He has actually developed better self motivation skills and learned to be responsible and accountable for his actions. I am a single mother working to full time jobs (one in Tahoe and one in Reno) and I have managed to oversee his work and progress.
