Simmons is fantastic. A private school education and environment without the tuition. The principal is very involved and all teachers are fantastic. I have 2 boys in the school, both are doing very well socially and academically and the teachers are very involved in their success.

Very pleased with Simmons. Articulate Principal. Excellent teachers. Very engaged HSA - has some new blood these days. Size of the school has not been a concern - still has a small feel and the kids adapt. They seem more confident as a result, but the family make-up in the school's footprint is changing and the school will need to show it is keeping up in order to maintain its vibrancy.

This is my son's first year at Simmons. His teacher is excellent - takes no nonsense, but very loving. I have watched him mature over the year, observed his reading skills greatly improving and he has discovered a love for math. The school has no tolerance for bullying and seems to go outof the way to teach mutual respect.

Our child attended Limekiln Simmons for Kind. and is currently at Simmons Elementary for 1st Gr. Parental involvement is fantastic. Opportunity for involvement is overwhelming. Although this is a large school, it has a small school feeling. Our teachers have been wonderful, attentive and thoughful. If you are looking in the Hatboro Horsham/Philadelphia subbarb's area you can't go wrong with Simmons.

I go in every Monday and help with the Kindergarten reading group or play word games. Then I eat lunch with my child. I also attend and bring things to all school parties. Since I volunteer only on Mondays I do not burn out. : )

Our school gives us mandatory hours (15) that we must give to the school in one way or the other. It is very easy if you don't mind stuffing envelopes or being a lunch mom. I think they even give working moms the opportunities to work on paperwork.... More »
