I am in agreement fully. I have never experienced such a school that a parent could not be or get involved in without resorting to the head principal. Some of the teachers are great but most are in fear of losing their jobs if they do not run everything they do or say by someone else. The school does not promote confidence or moral into the students at all. More could be done to offer information to parents and responses from the teachers and staff in a more timely manner is what this school so desperately needs!
Positives: The teachers will bend over backwards for you and they open the school early for tutoring. They even open the school on Saturdays to let the students use the computer labs and to get extra help. Some negatives: Students are required to be silent in the hallways and there are no pep rallies or school pride days to get the kids excited about Summerour.
