my son is still starting out here- but went to full day kindergarten last year. From what we've seen so far we love it- there are lots of activities, the school actively informs parents of local events and organizes school functions with the help of parents. The staff has been very supportive and helpful and my son comes home happy and despite a lack of drive to work on it at home managed to learn SO much in just one year I thought the school was adequately diverse considering the surrounding area- I would rather him be exposed to the children that live around him than for the school to bus kids in just to diversify the school- It sets the stage for peer relationships outside of school (for which as young kids- it is easiest if the peers live close to one another) The only complaint I have is that full day kindergarten costs $125 a month (half day is still free)- but this is a minor concern considering the benefits of the school as a whole and the fact that daycare as an alternative would have cost us much more.
Both of my grandchildren attend this wonderful elementary school. The teachers are open and very kind to these children always striving to be the best they can be, they are great examples of leadership for our children.I will continue to support this wonderful school and staff in any of their endeavors.
