Horrible overcrowding, lax security, clueless office staff, no separate art, music, computer and phys ed classes. It is also in a newer building, but doesn't feel welcoming

Daybreak Elementary is a good school and it is nestled in a wonderful community. It opened the Fall of 2005 and, considering it is a relatively new school, we have been pleased. The administration has a good working relationship with parents. The school, like every other school in the Salt Lake Valley, is crowded and the class sizes are large. We have an average turnover of teachers but this was mainly due to boundary changes and the opening of new schools. Once our boundaries are settled (we will go through one more boundary change this summer) I think the school and all its programs will run much more smoothly.
