When we first moved into Eagle Mountain my oldest daughter was in 1st grade. She came into Eagle Valley Elementary behind in reading because her old school (which was in a different disctrict) didn't have her in a reading program. Her teacher worked with my daughter and got her the help she needed. Now a 3rd grader my daughter is not only on target but her WPM have gone up drastically and she is ranked in the top 10% nationally (in reading) in the Iowa Tests. I have found the teachers to be incredible and really care about how my child does.
