Keller Elementary Gifted Magnet School

My son is in 1st grade at Keller and so far our experience there has met and exceeded our expectations. The school is challenging yet fun, my son loves going to school! His teacher is energetic and she makes learning fun. The principal is on top of things and the overall environment is very friendly, warm and inviting. Parents feel very connected to the school and what's going on--they do a great job of keeping parents informed and involved. I love this school!

I am currently in 8th grade at Keller, and my years here have been amazing. The principal knows all the students and their families personally. The teachers make sure you understand the material--if you dont understand something, they will take the time out of their schedule to help you. It's great, and I'm really going to miss this school. It's like one big family. Everyone knows eachother. This school is the right choice, trust me. :)

My daughter is now in 8th grade at Keller. This is absolutely the kind of school everyone wants their child to go to. The entire staff is amazing, they know each family personally. I was amazed at the level of personal attention given to not only my child, but to me. There is genuine concern about your child's wellbeing at this school. As others have said, it is one big happy family and it gets better as your child progresses through the grade levels. My daughter will go on to a great high school and college and will be very well prepared because of the wonderful education she is recieving at Keller. Every school should be like this!!

My daughter has been attending Keller since the first grade and she is currently in fifth. I still feel the same, if not more grateful to the teachers, staff, and principal. Keller is very much like 'one big happy family'. The teachers, parents and staff really care about the students. The parents watch over all the students and not just their own...remember when we were in school...it takes a village to raise a child, while you really feel the love at Keller. The environment is very condusive to learning, because of the warmth, love, and safety that is the top priority. My daughter has really grown and matured both academically and personally. She has always been an excellent student, (receives all A's and is consistenty in the top 95-99 percentile on tests). But what is even more important is she has found her own way, friends and identity.
