I find the principal and the staff concerned with each child's well being. They strive to make the student's learning experience fun as well as top priority. Each teacher accomplishes this with a great amount of love and patience. My children cannot wait to go to school each morning!

My daughter atteneded this school for kindergarten and 3/4 of 1st grade. I was very unhappy with the school as a whole and think that they bring the morale of the children way down. My daughter is now in a new school where she is doing exceedingly well and I couldn't be happier to have her out of there.

The academic program is risky. It could be there one year, and gone the next, due to city budgeting. Parent involvement is dismal. When choosing this school, you have to understand New Bedford is a mixed city. You have the middle-class and low-class. Depending on the area you reside in and it's zoning, you can't be clear of which your child would attend. However, I was very surprised at the amount of academic work they enforce on the children. Their standards are set high. I would recommend it. My only complaint would be their 'homework rule', if a child doesn't present their homework, even if it's thru no fault of their own, they are required to stay after school. Which is tough on single parents.
