I have both good and not so good to say about Wiley. On the good side, I believe by and large the administration and staff are caring and supportive of students and parents. My child especially loves the science and band programs. On the negative side, it is a huge school. My child has experienced bullying, and other unpleasant aspects that go align with Wiley being such a large school. It has not always been great for my son. The school cannot possibly hope to catch every negative incident. They have been responsive when we called on them to be. If you want close individual attention, small class sizes etc., You won't find it here. You will need a private or charter school. However, Wiley has quality, caring staff and administrators, who provide a quality education within the constraints they have to deal with. Also, let's remember, parents are a part of this, equation as well.

I love this school <3 i dont know why parents say the Teachers don't care to stay before and after school, because the teachers do EVERYTHING they can to help the students, (trust me i should know), Wiley has A wonderful athletic department and Fantastic dance team, with lots of extracurricular activities that your child will love, 6th graders don't have alot of say in which classes they can take because its their 1st year of middle school, but 7th and 8th graders have lots of freedom (: If your child tells you bad rumors about this school, they are all wrong! NOTHING is happening in the bathrooms , and the kids at wiley usually like to stride for success and teachers will gladly help them succeed, but if your child doesnt like school then well they're going to lie to you and make the school look bad. Wiley is the bomb.com

I dont like this school. the teachers are unaware and not attentive at all. and this is my 2nd child in this school. there is fighting and the teachers are hardly ever aware. There is also alot of bad things going on in the bathrooms. My daughter has told me some horror stories. the teachers seem to hate doing tutoring.

I attended Wiley for both 7th and 8th grade and was apart of the silver spur dance team.I loved it there the teachers were great and the academics were challenging (in a good way ) sure there were children who did some pretty bad things but they were disciplined accordingly. Only bad thing was that my sister had a problem with a bully and not much was done. Overall a great experience

If parents are willing to drive the extra distance, why wouldn't they be allowed to choose? Every school is not a match for every child and parents know their children best ... More »

Definitely! I believe that families should be allowed to attend any school they want, because there are some who went to a good school and parents want what's best for their kids. Even education.
