Our child is getting a good education at St Rose. Our child LOVES the school and does well academically. That part is 4 stars. There is a major problem that needs to be addressed though. They are in desparate need of a vice principal. There is only 1 person at the helm and she is spread much too thin to operate the school effectively. The diocese needs to take action in that area immediately. We would like to keep our child in St Rose through 8th grade but are definitely having 2nd thoughts.

Has been an excellent choice for my children and my family. It is a Catholic school that surpasses all of our expectations.

For our family, St. Rose is more than a school -- it's a community where we've made many friends. Both of my children have attended St. Rose since the 3-year-old preschool program. It provides a safe, nurturing environment and an exceptional academic program. The principal, Mrs. Maloney, and teachers from all grades know and care about my children. Newtown offers terrific public schools as well, but we really love St. Rose and feel blessed to have found it.
