small classes, hands on learning, progressive, creative learning. Clear Springs centers on the varied individual needs of the student.

Clear Spring School is such a blessing to our family. Not only are different learning styles accepted, they are nurtured. My children are learning not only the three r's but also a handful of life skills from the conflict resolution policy to the 2 annual camping trips. I would recommend this school to anyone who is interested in their children's education.

Our son loves to learn thanks to Clear Spring School where he attended for 11 years. The camping trips and travel were fantastic educational experiences. The dedication of the teachers is remarkable. CSS is one of three schools in Arkansas accredited by the National Association of Independent Schools. Our son had a full scholarship to college and a great package for law school at the University of Virginia, one of the top 10 law schools. Clear Spring is not a school for those who NEED discipline but for those who want to learn. The focus is on behavior not discipline. Our son will always love to learn because of CSS and that is priceless to us as parents.

I experienced Clear Springs School first in 1975, when my oldest daughter was able to attend. Years later, my second batch of kids were able to attend for several years. Now, my grandkids attend there. It's a family tradition. CSS is truly dedicated to development of the whole child into a whole adult. Not just the academics are stressed here, but life skills that are never taught in public schools. So much of their learning experiences are hands on. The camping trips are never forgotten. They learn to work with all ages of people. They learn skills for getting through the rough spots of adult hood. Most of the kids that attend Clear Springs School become travelers, college graduates, community volunteers, all round good citizens. Citizens that are intelligent, forward thinking and willing to work.
