This is a wonderful school! We recently moved from Louisville to New Albany and fell in love with Silver Street. This school is now fighting to stay open. They have received awards again for the 07-08 school year and I hate to see this happen.

A fantastic school! Silver Street Elementary School recently raised over $17,000 during a huge one day fund raising event to give to the family of a first grade student who is fighting leukemia. Silver Street Elementary School offers a safe, family atmosphere where teachers really care about the students. It is a neighborhood school where children can walk to school - one of the few in New Albany. Highly recommended!!!

My child absolutely loves Silver Street School, and I couldn't agree more! The environment here is one of a family. I feel like the staff and principal really care about my child and her success in school. I love Silver Street and I would recommend it to any parent and child!
