When I came to Kwoods, I was able to get the tools I needed to succeed. I was able to learn at my own pace and finish classes faster as well as receive a much needed challenge. I've been given so many opportunities and so much encouragement. The teachers are great and the students are so laid back, there's not much drama. Everyone can go down their own personal path and become who they want to be because they are seen as an individual and not just a random student like in public school. Overall, without Kwoods, I wouldn't have been able to become the person I am.

It a great school. I love how people are ALMOST as nice as my parents, but the bad side is that they are more instred in their studdies and they dont really have a sturded plan for all their students. The teachers are great. They give a good amount of home work. The students are great, but some times, their is too much drama. After all the schools I have went to this one is good. Stricket, and ok. Peace out!

Great smaller school, I accompanied a group of the Students on a hike in Maryland on the Appalachian Trail this past June, for Project Term. Just another Great program the school has to offer to its Students (and Parents!)

I just graduated from KWHS in June and I absolutely love the staff and how the students aren't just a number, they are a person, and the students care a lot about each student.

No. I have heard of teachers setting up FB pages on areas of study so students can use technology as a learning tool. All posts are public and private messages are disabled. I won't even friend former students. I do it as a rule-no hurt feelings.

No! As an educator, I don't want to be held responsible for what students are doing outside of the classroom.

Absolutely not. Most schools offer the homework question site through the school system. They do not need to be "friends" with their students through social networking sites.
