The 2006-2007 school year will be my daughters second year at Glenwood. My son will be starting kindergarten there next year. The teachers that my daughter has had are wonderful. They try in every way to help each child feel confident about themselves. Every staff member that I have come into contact with has always been very courteous and had the beat interest of the children in mind. The staff goes out of their way to keep the children's interest in school high. They have extra curricular activities for kindergarten's all the way through sixth grade. All the staff members work very hard at Glenwood and I would like to Thank each one!

I know i'm partial, but i believe our school to be A#1 in this county. We have an awesome principal, and awesome teachers, who really do care! I have no clue why people in Marion resort to homeschooling w/ the wonderful public educators we have in this county! I've had one child go thru Glenwood, and another soon to finish here, and I will be so sad to leave this school! They kinda feel like family! Thank you Glenwood Elementary for the knowledge and care you haven given my children!

I currently have two children that attend Glenwood Elementary. This will be my son's last year there. He will be moving on to Jr. High. My daughter still has 3 years there. I have been very pleased with my children's education while attending there. The teachers they have had and currently have, have really put forth great effort in teaching not only my children but all of the children. My children love school and take pride in their school. I can also say that the other teachers that my children did not have put forth the same effort in ensuring that all children get a good education. Not just the teachers but the whole staff work with all the children in making them feel a part of the school and help them feel that their education is an important part of life. The counselor, principle and everyone are great leaders and really go the extra mile for the children. Not to mention that they are a great group of kids that attend there. I am very proud to say that my children attend there. And will to continue to support the school and support my children's education.

Anything on the weekend is too much. Kids need "family and church" time too! 1 hour a night past the age 10 is fine, 30 minutes or less before.
