My oldest daughter started Kindergarten this year and I have been so impressed with the school system and teachers. The teachers are all very patient and caring with all the children. My daughter loves going to school. Such a great improvement from the California pre-school systems that we are coming from. I know she will get such a wonderful education here. For a kindergarten class they have a wide variety of classes and programs. I know when I went to school we definitely did not have a Spanish class or computer class in Kindergarten. I also have the ability to contact her teacher via e-mail any time I wish. This has been a wonderful 1st experience of school.

No. I have heard of teachers setting up FB pages on areas of study so students can use technology as a learning tool. All posts are public and private messages are disabled. I won't even friend former students. I do it as a rule-no hurt feelings.

No! As an educator, I don't want to be held responsible for what students are doing outside of the classroom.

Absolutely not. Most schools offer the homework question site through the school system. They do not need to be "friends" with their students through social networking sites.
