Literacy First Charter School

I curently have 2 students attending LFCS and my oldest child matriculated from 8th grade last year and went on to public HS. I have been extremely pleased and impressed with the school. LFCS, Inc. now has 3 schools, my children are at the Junior Academy. I find the teachers to be exceptional; they are caring, passionate and find creative ways to stimulate learning. The principal at the Junior Academy (JA) site is fantastic; he knows the kids by name and makes parents feel welcome. My kids have attended private church school for most of their life, I did a lot of research in regards to different public school options before enrolling them at Literacy First and I feel the school has met and exceeded my expectations. Literacy First keeps up with research and introduces evidence-based practice.

My son started the Cross Fit program this year (7th grade) that LFCS implemented and he and I absolutely love it. At back to school night the coaches explained why they chose this program over the conventional PE program (vollyball, tennis, etc.) that most schools use and it makes alot of sense. It requires ALL students to be accountable for their fitness as it is an individual program. They even encourage the parents to join them in the workout! Thanks for researching and implementing a great program!

This is a fabulous school. My daughter is only in kindergarten but i already love it. Lisa Dziuk is the greatest teacher ever!!!! The principal is awsome!!!
