I have been involved with SYVCS since it began in 2000 - wow! It's an amazing school. The principal is dedicated and caring, the teachers are excellent - and the atmosphere is one of constant learning. Parent participation is not only encouraged - it's required! They don't pidgeon-hole your children - if they really excel in one particular area, they are given the opportunity to soar! The entire school feels like family - and everyone is accepted with open arms. Check out this school if you move to the Santa Ynez Valley!

We have been involved with SYVCS for 6 years and both our children go here. It has a great learning environment, strong leadership from the Principal, awesome teachers and a very open, friendly atmosphere. Both of our children are working above grade level in some subjects and they love to go to school. Check out SYVCS if you are moving to the Valley!

SYV Charter School offers a friendly, family environment where each student receives the attention he/she needs to maximize their abilities. Parental involvement is phenomenal. Our teachers are awesome too. This is my son's 5th year at this school and at the end of each school year he has said, 'that was my favorite teacher!' With the combination of our Parent, Teacher, & Student population in conjunction with a Strong Director at the helm, our school will no doubt continue to flourish. SYVCS is a tuition-free public school campus open to all students in the Area.
