Hello I am a student at James Madison Middle School currently. I am in all honors classes and am in 8th grade and am in Algebra 1. I believe that education is very important we reccently took the science MSA. I think that the only reason I may be able to pass it is because of knowledge from the seventh grade. This school does not have well qualified teachers and have a farce of an administration I believe No Child Should Be Left behind and at this school every child is unable to live up to their full potential. I believe this tradgedy is one of the reasons why America is so behind in the world of modern education.

I think that any one who has spent any amount of time in the classrooms, the office, the halls, or have had a real issue knows that there are real problems here. I am inclined to believe that staff or the principal himself posted favorable comments. Every parent I encounter is as disenchanted as I am. There are a few great teachers. Unfortunately the bad apples eventually spoil the bunch, especially when the principal ineffective as a leader. The whole school administration staff should be wiped out.

i am a studnt at this school and my only grievance is that the school could use better funding for gym equipment and computers and books and other such things but many many children are taking the high school courses my class is second highest in the school and they have several other honors classes like mine with 30 children and our test grades are almost all advanced

I used to be a student here, and I must say I Hated it. (05-06) Then my little sister started attending this school. I must say thiis is excellent..I Find the work a Challenge, The teachers are involved with students, parent involvement is great, and The Safety and discipline, is perfect. The homework Policy is really strict. I love it now, since I'm very involved with my little sister.

You get what your tax dollars pay for! Excellent school for the money in my opinion.

Check to see if students with disabilities are a priority because otherwise the state doesn't pay for that child to go to School if they don't have a disability your child has to be put on a waiting list for pre-k! if their not

1.Go on a tour of a school tour 2. Talk to the director (and the teacher your child will have) about what the students day like. 3. Watch school in session 4. Look out for red flags: neglected children at play, lazy, non engaging teachers
