I have two children in attendance at Madison one fifth grader and a third grader. Since the NEW SEASON began I must say that the change has been great. It was an adjustment for all. Overall, the school has improved.

I have had two graduates of Madison and my youngest is currently enrolled. Overall, the school is ok, but there are a lot of issues that need to be dealt with. So far, I have not had any problems due to the fact that I participate and I was a LSC member and I try to keep abreast of what is going on.

My child went enter Madison in the first grade and left in the middle of the third grade. The small grades are okay they are in the little building but once they go to the big building it is a different story. There is very little parent participation. By the time my child reached the third grade there were too many older children in the room that had been held back. And they were a problem. I pull my child out of this school and found a private school to attend. Good luck to whoever goes to this school

My experience at Madison was not a pleasant one. It didn't start out that way my last 3 children went to Madison. The early childhood program was very beneficial for both my daughter and my youngest child. My middle son needed more then what the school could or would offer. He was put in a slow reading class because of his short attention span. I wasn't informed of this decision until he was put into the classroom. He wasn't given any paper for me to sign I wasn't informed regarding a meeting to discuss this change in his school work. I had to take him out because I didn't know what they were doing. I didn't understand the process of special education. I am currently working for a company that does billing for special education students and I understand the process a lot better.
