Freedom Crest Elementary School

This school is not what I expected at all! There is no unity with the staff and administration, the teachers are unpleasant, the parents have no say so and are not taken seriously and the children are over-looked all of the time. I ended up pulling my child from this school and hopefully other families will not experience all that we have with this school. The district needs to look into this school, but I'm afraid they will not experience all that we did in the 4 months we were there.

My son has been at FCE from Kindergarten and is now in 5th grade. As with any school, I've encountered some teachers that I wouldn't have chosen, but I feel my son has always been given a good learning environment with a positive staff attitude. There are a few exceptional teachers at this school that go over and above their duties, and make every child they see feel special and respected . No matter what school you kids go to, they will have some teachers that seem unconventional. I chalk it up to a good real-life learning experience. What work place is filled with only people that you like and get along with? Learning to work with even the difficult teachers is an important life skill that will help them be productive adults. I am an employee of the district and am proud to have 2 of my children here.
