My two daughters have graduated from Redwood. It provides an education for those who cannot cope with the bigness of high school (3000 students). The teachers are very special. They try to know each student personnally and understand why they are having problems learning. The ratio of students to teacher is about 20-25. The students know there is nowhere else to go if they do not make it at Redwood. Many students become leaders and control and push the other students. It is more of a community than a school. They are treated as outcasts by the other schools. But they get an education and form lasting friendships. I want more opportunities for the students to see and experience the outside world. This means field trips and guest speakers and performers to give the students an awareness than they can be special also. Help them!!!

I have a son who goes to this school and I have been nothing but impressed by everything from the principal to the teachers and their involvement with the students. I especially like that come progress report time, they have the parents (with their student) come to the school to pick it up so that you get one-on-one time with every teacher your child has, which is just unheard of!
Redwood Helped me graduate early so i could start my career faster and i thank all of the teachers for how much they work with each individual student
