Don't be fooled. The special education program at Meadow Creek is terrible, except for the special day class located on campus. The administration does not want to use a full inclusion model for addressing learning disabilities. Parents don't be fooled into believing that administrators, special education (resource teachers) and school personnel know what's best for your child. Be careful

I want to say that I am ecstatic about the performance of the new principal, Ms Pasos at this school. I feel as if the needs of the children are finally being put first and that discipline is finally being dealt with. The principal's open door policy is fantastic and I can honestly say that my confidence in this school has been lifted. Congratulations to Ms. Pasos and also to the school district for having the wisdom to bring her to this school. We need more principals like this one to insure our kids get a good education!

My son attends kindergarten (2008-2009 school year). So far, I have been pleased with his teacher and the level of attention given to my son by all faculty. However, I have heard from other parents that there is no emphasis on extra-cirricular activities, such as art or music. I am sure this is due to state budget cuts and our politicians thinking that these types of student interactions are considered to be fluff and unnecessary. I am sad that this will affect my bright little star.

Me being a student I personally love it. 2 things I hate is the cafeteria food and how dirty the school is. One of the biggest reasons that I love MCES is because they have a GATE program that I am in. I am also in Student Council. Other than the cafeteria food and the pollution everything else rocks.

If parents are willing to drive the extra distance, why wouldn't they be allowed to choose? Every school is not a match for every child and parents know their children best ... More »

Definitely! I believe that families should be allowed to attend any school they want, because there are some who went to a good school and parents want what's best for their kids. Even education.

Families should be able to attend any school they wish.
