I wish I had heeded the previous review before we moved into this school district. The administration was completely unprofessional. The principal was rude and dismissive to our concerns as parents coming from out of state. Her attitude set the tone for the whole school. We have never been treated as poorly as we were by this school. We chose to pull our kids out and when we notified the school their attitude was 'take your stuff and go'. They are not concerned about your kids here -- only their beloved test scores. Obviously test scores don't tell the whole story. If you want a happy learning environment for your kids and a welcoming environment for your family, Piney Point Elementary is not the school for you!

Wow. What a disapointment. First, I would like to say that the teachers are wonderful. However, the administration and front office treat you as if you were in kindergarten. If you are a parent who doesn't spend much time at school---I recommend it because the teachers are great. If you like to volunteer, stay away! We were told our first day from the front office that volunteers are for making copies.

The teachers at PPES were excellent. Unfortunately, the administration was not so helpful. I got tired of the administration talking down to me, so I moved my children to a private school, which is even better for them.
