I'm afraid the quality of the education has dropped in the last few years, but is beginning to rebound with the retirement of some of the teachers and hiring of new ones. Scheduling conflicts continue to be problematic for our fine arts program and school funding is very low for everything. The school needs to allow parents to get more involved in the school itself, not just attending extra-cirricular activities. People do volunteer, but are just not utilized. Parents had to develop a baseball program on their own and convince the school board that they would not have to do anything towards it, before they would allow it to happen. Our band program is backed by a good parent organization that helps with costs not covered by the school.
