My daughter attended this school for almost two years. The teachers are all very warm and caring. They do a nice job of presenting the material to the children. My daughter learned so much at this school and is definitely prepared to go to kindergarten. This school has a great dance and drama program with a huge end of the year performance. My daughter has missed the school and the teachers. The only negative I found was that the director/owner is not very flexible with parents who only want to send their child part time. Further, the rates have gone up and class sizes were getting bigger. But overall, I was very pleased with our experience at this school. I should also note that I did not have any trouble at all communicating with any of the teachers as one of the other reviewers noted.
This school is a good school, here is what worked well for me and the opportunities for the school management Worked well 1) Strong owner and management involvement in the school 2) School is well run and one of the better schools in the neighborhood Opportunities 1) As a Montessori school I would expect more academic focus from the school, the actual teaching time is about one hour if you excluded the nap time and breaks. 2) Many teachers are immigrants from another country, hence not very fluent with English. Make sure you talk to the teacher you child will enroll in.

My son attended LWM for two years and because of their excellent methods of teaching my son is excelling in first grade. I credit LWM for working with the parents to instill confidence and build self esteem by creating a nurturing atomsphere for learning and allowing the children to learn at a pace that is comfortable. Thank you for a job well done.
