teachers work closely with kids and parents, kids learn how to be leaders and to look up to their leaders, lots of community involvement, very supportive of many different cultures and local native life.

I can understand reading to your child when they are in k-3. And having some home work. But every week a 1st grader having homework to have the parent help them with. Is not right, that is pretty much doing the teachers work for them. A first grader should not have homework every night of the week. And also, I think a snack should be provided for them like in some of the classrooms. My younger child comes home and is very hungry. And my older child tells of the snacks they have in their class. Why is it so hard for a teacher to list what not to give to their class so that the ones with allergies do not get what can harm them.
