Stockdale High is a good school. My draw back is that the kids focus a lot on clothes and who has what. One of my kids went to stockdale and the other went to Highland. It seems to me that the kids at Highland were much nicer. The kids at stockdale were very clicky. It was hard for my one daughter to make friends. The staff at the school were great and the vice principal was very helpful when I was trying to get my one daughter transferred to Highland, he went out of his way to help us and make calls for us.If you can handle rich attitude of the kids there, then stockdale is a great school, my one daughter needed to be transferred she had a hard time with us being a more middle class and its a very upper class school.

The academics of Stockdale High are very prestigious and it is a very safe and good school to go to. Although it is very cliquey, academically it is excellent. Your child probably won't like it if they have had problems fitting into groups in the past.

I am impressed with Stockdale High. The teachers and administration are available and friendly. Whenever I've needed to ask a question regarding academics or my student's involvement they always return emails within 24 hours. Academically Stockdale rates at the top. I don't know how they do it but they are able to make a large school feel like an intimate small school setting. I purchased my home in the Stockdale area so my children could attend there. It was one of my best choices I have ever made.
