I placed my son into this school following a disappointing year at another local Christian School. In the first week at Calvary Baptist the teacher had solved his discipline problems and he began to learn. The initial testing showed that he was one year behind the learning curve and he was only in the second grade. Now one year later he is on track for his grade level and will begin the third grade right where he is suppose to be. Additionally, I feel that he is in a safe environment and associating with kids who act their own age and do not have the social problems that public school students learn from the parents and older siblings.

I placed my daughter at this school because of the inferior education provided at La Contenta Junior High, and glad I did. Although she was an honor student her elementary school years, her test scores for entrance into this school showed she was not any where near what this school considered 'grade level'. With the extra help provided by this school she is now again on the honors track and has learned more in her 2 and half years of attendance here than she would have learned in 6 years of junior and high school. I have no intentions of sending her back to the public school system. If you're looking for a great education with no frills and un-necessary foo foo this is the place.

A blog by nature is public territory. If you don't want something to be public knowledge, don't post it on the internet.
