This is the sixth year I have had children attending Lakeside. I love the school, the teachers and staff, and the children and parents. K - 5 class sizes are small, so that the teachers can really focus on each individual childs needs. Upper level children are pushed harder so that they can progress at a faster pace, while the lower level children are also given independant attention and are not left behind. So far, great all around!

Communication with teachers is always a problem. The school does not have email accounts for their staff. They have phone number extentions but playing phone tag seems to be the norm at this school. By the time I am able to actually speak to the teacher, the issue has become irrelevant.
Great school! Really seems to care about the kids and the education level. I have always got my questions and concerns taken care of in a timely manner. Parent group is great. I wish more parents were involved!

Used to be great small school. Rapid growth has caused the small school feel to leave. Classified office staff keeps the school running. Principle seems overwhelmed with things and fails to answer questions straight up. Music program is strong. Teacher really teaches the music well for the amount of time he has.
