At Childress Junior High they have excellent academic programs. You have the advanced classes for the kids who learn faster than others, and they also have the other classes that are, i guess you could say, average classes. They have sixth, seventh and eighth grade band, they have P.E. for 6th, 7th, and 8th grades, athletics for 7th, and 8th grades, theatre arts class, and shop. Theses are excellent ways for the kids here to be involved. The parents here are involved very much. We have Bobkitten Mom's who help out with the sports banquet and the dances and other school activities that they have going on. It's an all around excellent school. I loved going there and my friends that are there now love it too. And I will add, they have an excellent staff! The students love the teachers and principal.
