My daughter attends 1st grade at W.W. They welcomed a new principal this year, Dr Michael T. Derczo. I find him to be a dedicated, involved, and hands-on leader. This evidenced by everything from his presence directing traffic and assisting his staff in the oversight of child safety each morning to the makeshift desk he chooses to work from in the hallway each day (allowing him to stay connected to the heart of the school (our children). My daughter's teacher is a wonderful, down-to-earth woman with an obvious talent and passion for the education of children. And I could not be happier with the content of class/homework my daughter receives. She admires and respects her teacher, performs at above average levels across all subjects and LOVES to go to school! What more could a parent ask for from an institution?

I only have one child who just so happened is now in the kindergarden class at Woodrow Wilson. I am involved in the PTA and his teachers are great. We have great communication and she sends me information on a regular basis. She also gave the parents her home phone number, which I have used on more than one occasion. I am extremely pleased with the staff at the center.

I currently have 3 students enrolled in Woodrow Wilson. They are all achieving at or well above the state averages. My 3rd grader has read all of the Harry Potter books and is currently reading 'Lord of the Rings'. My 5th grader is a wonderful debater, he has learned how to research and present a topic completely. My Kindergarten student is well on his way to reading and does adding and subtracting. The staff is outstanding and incredibly dedicated to the school and its students and families. The administration couldn't be better. The Principal and Vice Principal have the respect and admiration of the parents and guardians and are equally respected by the students themselves. Woodrow Wilson is a gem in the New Jersey education system and was named a National Blue Ribbon School in 1998. I am proud to be a member of the Woodrow Wilson Family!
