Mattie Wells Elementary School is an excellent school. Principal Holliday and the teachers really care about their students. My children have achieved well in their academic studies.

This school is wonderful. I had put my son in a private school and I much perfer Mattie Wells over the private school. The teachers are very involved with the students and they really care.

I am very proud to have my daughter attend Mattie Wells.She has improved a great deal in third grade.Her teacher,Mrs.McCook and a couple of other teachers (example:Mrs.Parker)has really helped her succeed where she is today.She has joined chorus and is on Honor Roll.I've eaten lunch with her quite a few times,and have sat in the classroom once and I've been invited to come back.next week they will have a Crafts day for parents to be involved,plus a Santa shop Etc.She acts as though she doesn't want to miss out of anything that is happening at School.

I am very proud to have my son attend Mattie Wells Elementary. His teacher has taken the time to try many different things with him to help him succeed in school. I was happy to know that the teacher did not make up in her mind that my child will never be able to finish a task or really learn something. This is his first year in Jones County and this is the first year he has received awards fo his success. He is in the fourth grade; only now is he beginning to like school. Thank you to Mattie Wells Elementary.
