The only reason the elementary school received a 7 was because of one particular grade level which has since moved on. Test scores are very high. Teachers are caring. Facilities are great. The last P-T conference has 100% in attendance and this is not unusual. There are more parent volunteers than the school can easily accommodate. Interest by adults is very high in this community and support is great. The last 3 bond issues passed in the 80% range. All buildings are air-conditioned. Elementary counselor, music and p.e. teachers, help available for math and reading. Treynor reported all scores while some districts report only the best grade level.

Growing elementary school with new facilities added for the fall of 2004. All are airconditioned. Extremely high student achievement as measured by student proficiency levels on Iowa Tests of Basic Skills. 4% free and reduced lunch. Outstanding elementary band, choir, and athletic participation. Spanish in 6th grade. Usually 100% parent/guardian attendance at P-T conference. High expectations. Caring staff. Tremendous support from the community. Well-behaved students. Experienced staff. Art, music, phys. ed. with special teachers. Reading and math support provided even though federal funds are limited due to achievement level.

By doing it in the funnest way possible,we have to make it exciting for them. Maybe reward them after they are done AND DID THERE BEST. Parents must be totally involved.

You shouldn't, have a study hall if they need help. When you learn you need a teacher, students can study on their own time.
