HH is a great school! I have one student in 1st grade and 2 in preschool there. So far all of the teachers and specialists they have had are friendly, caring, inspiring instructors. They really want the best for their students and work very hard to help them learn. It seems there is a lot of extra help for kids that need it and plenty of challenge for kids that are strong academically. I have total respect for the principal, Ms. Godwin-Austen, and the respectful, supportive environment she helps to instill at this school. There is a lot of parent involvement, a very active PTA, and many great extra activities for the kids and parents to be involved with throughout the year. As far as I'm concerned, there are no negatives about this school.

This is our first year and I am extremely pleased with the curriculum and educational experience that my child received this year. This is a safe school and the prinicpal is absolutely wonderful, probably one of the best we've dealt with. My complaint is that the school lacks extracurricular activities/clubs which help round-out a school. Being new here, we hoped that school events would help us transition into the community, but were very disappointed to find few offered. Parents stick with who they know and are not very welcoming - which impacts how a new child adjusts to new friends outside of school. I am pleased that my child is receiving an education in a safe environment however, there are ways to integrate socialization along with education in our schools - which H.H.E. does not. Overall, good safe choice for children.

It is a wonderful school!! My children have been attending for 2 years. They have Kids way cafe foe lunch which gives the kids 6 choices of what they want to eat for lunch and they have a sald bar. They have a kindergarten bridge program the kids that are a little behind can go to school for 1 extra hour in the morning to get one on one teaching. It is a wonderful school.
