I have to say, I really do love LaFargeville. The teachers are awesome and since the school is small, it's like an everybody knows everybody kind of situation. There are always older kids to help out the younger kids, so there isn't any stress of moving from school to school. The only unfortunate thing is that there are not many extracirricular activites. Especially for middle school. (4th to 6th grade) Otherwise though I love LaFargeville.

La Fargeville Central School does a lot of fund raisers for the local food pantry.Every year they go out and clean up the area and help the elderly in the apartment complex. At Christmas they have the kids bake cookies for the elderly and deliver them while singing Christmas caroals. They are putting a green roof on the gym ,putting in a windmill for power and using gray water for the toilets. They are putting in a health clinic for people that can't afford or have transportation to take their kids to the doctors.

Lafargeville is horrible! The school on a whole is nothing but 'clicks'-from the staff to the students. Mrs.Hornbeck was a great principal but no one else made us feel welcomed to the school. Smaller is not better.
