The school has very little 'gang' problems like other schools. The teachers all try very hard to help every student succeed. On the downside, it doesn't offer a lot of the sports/activities/classes that other schools do. They somewhat make up for it with their own activities. Overall I really enjoyed my experience there.

I love this school! there is no other school I would prefer in the entire world. Each teacher reaches out and touches each and every individual students needs. This school also provides school trip for student with c+'s or better and an even better activity for those with staight a's. I love this school very much we are excelling and stiving to make ourselves known!

El Capitan Public School is a wonderful school. The teachers, staff, and administration care very much about each child that attends their school. They make real effort to encourage positive behavior in the students, as well as create a positive attitude about learning. Communication between the teachers and myself has been very open. Parent involvement is appreciated and the staff thanks me for my time regularly. Not only are my children ALL excited about school, but I feel welcome as well.

Rt@fpluto, that's so horrid. My heart goes out to your kids.Do u mind if I ask what school system you're in, I maybe able to get some answers for you if I knew. I recently moved to the Beech Grove district. Meanwhile, I will pray for your family.
