I do not consider this school to be an 'academic' based institution. Although the learning experience is varied, the curriculum is dated, slightly skewed, and not practical, nor realistic for the times in which we live. The school environment tends to foster emotional/mental underdevelopment in it's students, as well as a fear of media based content in a general sense (TV, non-Waldorf approved reading materials, internet and computer based technology, so on). If I were to recommend this school at all, I would hesitantly recommend this school to any parent within the district who has a special needs child, or a child with autism-spectrum disorders. I base that recommendation solely on the fact that this school progresses at a much slower, less demanding pace than other 'typical' schools.

in my opinion woodland is the best school for parents who care and want to be involved in there childs education. this school builds the foundation for a great future for all the kids.
