I give it a 5 star rating because there are kids that come from all over S. Indiana to take part in some of our top-notch, cutting edge curriculum. Our car mechanics class has won several competitions and is ranked no.1 in the state! We have a beautiful, clean school. We have well-educated certified staff.

I am a Junior this year at Pike Central. I think that we as a school have a lot to offer the student body and our community.

I think PCHS is an amazing school. They have some much to offer students that a lot of schools don't have. For example, Principles of Biomedical Science. This class is a great one to take if you are wanting to go into the medical field after high school. It prepares you so much and teaches so many useful things. There are several other classes to go along with this. Another awesome thing about PCHS is the Swing Choir. This choir is the best one I have ever heard and hope to soon be a part of. I know that lately we have been in the news a lot for things that aren't that good but, it happens and if what people have heard about our school has given anybody negative thoughts about us, they're sorely mistaken!

I graduated from PCHS with bright hopes for my college years, only to discover that I was behind just about everyone else in nearly every subject. As an art student, I was very disappointed to see that I was way behind all my classmates in that particular area- especially art history.

If parents are willing to drive the extra distance, why wouldn't they be allowed to choose? Every school is not a match for every child and parents know their children best ... More »

Definitely! I believe that families should be allowed to attend any school they want, because there are some who went to a good school and parents want what's best for their kids. Even education.
