I have had a great experience at LH. While it's not in an affluent area, it's not the worst part of quincy either. I have found the students to be great, but most of the of the parents leave much to be desired. I continue to be surprised by the lack of participation from the parents. However, the staff is fantastic!! My daughter went from not being able to read at the beginning of the year (we had moved from another town and a learning disability went un-noticed), to reading almost completely independantly by Christmas-I consider that a huge acheivment. All of the teachers care a lot ablut the students, even the ones not in thier classroom, and it is a true learning envirorment.
I attended Lincoln Hancock for 4 years. I thought that it had a GREAT staff, but it's leadership lacking. Most of the parents don't care, but the ones that do, do everything. Over all I had a wonderful tine. Lincoln Hancock Pride!
i love this school I think it's an awsome school. They have dedicated teachers! I was impressed with their citizens of the month program. What a huge incentive for the kids. The unbelievable respect for eachother and teachers due to this goal they reach every month. They get to play bingo and games at lunch. I would definately recommend this school! Who cares about the area it's the teachers not the area! Don't jusdge a book by it's cover! It's they same cirriculum in Quincy!
