My daughter is now in her second year at Comal Elementary. I am impressed with the schools focus on learning. I have been exposed to many schools around the country as well as several Texas counties. Every other school has focused on learning the skills to take the TAKS test and I find that it has taken the fun out of learning your subjects and really enjoying school. With so much time learning to take tests our children are loosing critical time necessary to really learn and enjoy their subjects. My hats off to Comal Elementary for focusing on learning and less on test taking. If you teach well the kids will know the material when they take the test. I have a child that has the opportunity to love school. Thank you!

My daughter has been at Comal Elementary for three years. It is a good school, better than most schools in the area. The music and art have been great, the sports I am not too impressed with. Its a lot of boot camp style PT instead of kids having fun learning about athletics and sports. Overall though the school is great, and my daughter has made significant progress there.

I have a daughter that goes to Comal elem. she loves it. she is in first grade mrs.sittas class . Out of all the schools i've experanced , Comal elementry is the top of the line for kindergarden thur 6 th grade.
