I absolutely love Skiatook High School. The teachers really seem to love their jobs, and I enjoy learning from them. We really have a great sense of pride about our school and have lots of school spirit. It feels good to see all my fellow classmates in the stands at sports events, cheering on the home team. Go Bulldogs!

As a former student of Skiatook High School, I would just like to say that I loved going to school there. Yes, Skiatook has it's problems, (just like any other school) but most of the students at Ski Hi have no idea how lucky they are to be going to such a nice and well taken care of school compared to others around the state of Oklahoma. Skiatook is equipped with many different kinds of athletic programs, several different outlets in the arts area such as band, choir, drama, and visual arts, and not to mention, amazing facilities that are preparing Skiatook for more growth and success. I would say the only thing that is hurting Skiatook High School itself is the apathy that is spreading like wild fire throughout the teenagers of the world today. The teachers there do try to get staudents to care. They don't have to.

As a student our school is by far the best near us. Our athletic programs, for one, are given a great chance to succeed.(These include many state tittles that we have gained in the past two years). Our drama and debate is at state right now, and you dont think thats a sign of a good school? Our band he grown and are acheving so much. Our acedemics are great along with the best teachers.

No. I have heard of teachers setting up FB pages on areas of study so students can use technology as a learning tool. All posts are public and private messages are disabled. I won't even friend former students. I do it as a rule-no hurt feelings.

No! As an educator, I don't want to be held responsible for what students are doing outside of the classroom.

Absolutely not. Most schools offer the homework question site through the school system. They do not need to be "friends" with their students through social networking sites.
