We have had seven children that went through Quinault School from 1983 thru 2006. This past year we had three foster children in School. One child in the first and two in the third grade. We have seen constant improvement especially recently. The child in the first grade has surprised us with his ability to read and sound out complex words. The phonics reading program that is used in K-2 works well. The third graders have done well this year considering their abilities at the beginning of the year. The kids have been active in music and after school activities that included karate, arts and crafts, and science. The level of parent involvement is an area that could use improvement but is at par with other schools.

Definitely! I believe that families should be allowed to attend any school they want, because there are some who went to a good school and parents want what's best for their kids. Even education.
