Out of 4 children, 3 have attended MCI, and the 4th will start Kindergarten next year. The teachers are wonderful and will work with those parents who are willing to take on the responsibility necessary to ensure their child's success. The only drawback I've had ever was knowing when things are planned, as the PTO and School District Calendars hardly ever match up (vacation days, holiday breaks, field trips, etc.) Minor things when planning ahead. MCI has been great to my kids, and to me personally. MCI needs more parent involvement, but I guess that's just something that is expected due to the areas class of residents.

This school is absolutely wonderful!!! My children have suffered sprained ankles, bruises, etc from their wonderful teacher and student bullies. The best gift was the fractured knee 3 teachers gave my child. They have excellent skills in labeling children as bad children. I truly wish I had more space to enter each educational law they have broke. Unfortunately, there's not enough room :(Rating this school there is not a number low enough to give.

My child has been going to this school since first grade. She is now in fifth grade and doing very well. I am thankful to all the teachers she has had through the years, they have all been interested in each childs personal success and helped in their own individual needs. I believe my child received an excellent education here.

I go in every Monday and help with the Kindergarten reading group or play word games. Then I eat lunch with my child. I also attend and bring things to all school parties. Since I volunteer only on Mondays I do not burn out. : )

Our school gives us mandatory hours (15) that we must give to the school in one way or the other. It is very easy if you don't mind stuffing envelopes or being a lunch mom. I think they even give working moms the opportunities to work on paperwork.... More »
