Hi! I am the proud parent of a Sophmore at VHHS, and I could not be happier. My son had ADD and the IEP (individualized ed. program) has been such a blessing! The staff really cares about the students at this school, and it shows, not only in the way they teach, but in the way they respect each student as an individual.

Great academics, excellent administration, wonderful special needs teachers, a national championship math team, a state championship boys' basketball team, and a state top-10 football team - and the girls' teams are just as good. 95%+ of each graduating class go on to further education. A National Blue Ribbon School. What's not to love???

My daughter is a freshman at the high school this year. She is still getting used to the transition from Pizitz to the high school. I think that it is a great school in a great school system, but the most disturbing thing about it: there seems to be quite a few disciplinary problems; cursing, fighting and just plain disrespect for teachers. Thesekids should be removed and sent to another school if they do not appreciate this school! disrespect

By doing it in the funnest way possible,we have to make it exciting for them. Maybe reward them after they are done AND DID THERE BEST. Parents must be totally involved.

You shouldn't, have a study hall if they need help. When you learn you need a teacher, students can study on their own time.
