This is a great school!! The staff work overtime and all staff members of the school take an interest in the children. I have never met a more dedicated principal or seen a school leader who actually sets the example and tone for her staff the way this principal does. I wish more parents would be involved to help the staff with their chldren. If everyone work together, then it is truly a golden opportunity to make a change and a difference with our children!! Go Central!!

This has to be the best elementary school in the district! The staff, principal and parents are highly involved. Plenty of activities and they even have counciling for students who need that extra help. It's like one big family, there could not be a better school for my children. Thanks!

The atmosphere is wonderful. The principal is always there to speak to the parent if he or she has a problem. The teachers are willing to go that extra mile to help the kids excel. The after school activites are great, but I would like to see more parents involved.

This school is wonderful. The staff is great and helpful. I was a Brooklyn, NY public school parent, it is a whole lot better.

Our six-grader Daughter, enjoys the freedom of choice. We allow her to pick and choose as she makes good choices, she has demonstrated responsibility in her decisions. Making (Pizza) & Tomatoes) are Vegetables came from USDA. Freedom of Choice.

No. I prepare my son's lunch just about every day due to his special needs so I know what he is consuming both for him and his class. I want to be aware of all ingredients in all foods/drinks which he is consuming.

If it is to keep allergic kids safe, then no. A strict rule of no peanuts or pb&j should be enough. My child's school had a peanut free table for double insurance. If for "nutritional" reasons, then NO! Since when is pizza a veggie????... More »
