I couldn't ask for a better school for my children to attend. The staff and teachers are excellent and very welcomeing. We feel at home here and would have it no other way.

The school building itself is a bit dated and in need of repair. However, the staff (right down the the custodians) are good people and the teachers seem to genuinely care about their students. So far, the curriculum has been great and presented well. My child is right on par to advanced with his skill levels in all academic areas regardless of the fact that he has learning disabilities. His teachers have taken the time to make sure he understands the material being presented and can apply the knowledge. The only thing that has kept me from giving this school 5 stars is the condition of the building. The district needs to either provide a new building or spend some money remodeling the current one.

I moved from Bellaire Elementary (1 mile away) due to a move that put us in Sun City's district. When comparing the two, I would go back to Bellaire in a heartbeat. But, Sun City is a school i would recommend to someone looking to move to south bossier. The teachers are awesome (and that is an understatement). Their caring for the kids surpasses any that i had ever seen growing up in Caddo Parish. But i must say, i am not thrilled with the principal, and i really cant stand the vice principal. They are not very friendly, nor welcoming. The vice principal needs to take some time to learn a few things about her own school as she doesnt seem to know anything about it (believe me this comes from a few encounters i had with her...) but once you get past them, its a great school.
