My daughter just completed 4th grade with an exceptional teacher at Westchase and it seems like every year gets better and better! As for the review stating that the school was not 'challenging' enough, I don't know what else you could be looking for. It clearly is an excellent academic school, with many opportunities for students to showcase their abilities beyond the classroom. I'm an involved parent and have yet to run into any administrator/teacher that is not responsive to a parents' or childs' needs. I just hope we can find a middle school that holds itself to the same standards!

I am very pleased with what this school has offered to my daughter who is about to enter the second grade. I do feel there is lots of support from the staff and parents to make this a great school.
I recently moved my 2 children to Westchase Elementary from an amazing Magnet school in the county. I have to say that I completely regret our decision. Westchase is so overrated, a lot of the parents think their kids are so brilliant and they are just average. My children were way more challenged in their other school. Both are in gifted (AGP) and still not challenged. If you are a snob and you think your kid is so great than Westchase elemenatry is the place for you. Very upper middle class with no diversity. In my opinion not a true representation of the real world.
